* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Walter Myers
Walter Randal Myers, age 66, of St. Marys, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Miami Valley Hospital, in Dayton.
Walt was born September 17, 1958, in Celina, to Donald Myers and Bonnie Lou (Baker) Myers, who preceded him in death.
Surviving are his brothers & sisters: Deb (Daniel) Grace and Paula Hoenie of Celina, Todd Myers of St. Marys, Holly (Clinton) Bell of Mendon, and Nick (Connie) Myers of Findlay; an uncle, Stanley Baker of Rockford; and many nieces & nephews.
After graduating from Mendon-Union High School, Walt attended college, then worked as a forklift operator at AAP in St. Marys, retiring early at age 57. Pastimes that Walt enjoyed were: drawing and making jewelry, which he gave as gifts to family members. Walt enjoyed watching instructional YouTube videos to learn how to make things, and he liked to play computer games.
Calling Hours will be held at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, on Monday, February 17, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, with Memorial Services to follow at 3:00. Pastor Matt Overman will officiate.
