* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Skins, Cavs square off

For the first time this season, the Midwest Athletic Conference will have a full slate of boys basketball games on Friday night.

Coldwater, which opened conference play on Tuesday with a win over New Knoxville, hosts St. Henry at the Palace.

The Cavaliers have been busy since starting the season on Dec. 21, going 4-3 and entering Friday having won two straight games after a big 61-37 win over the Rangers. [More]

Officials hatch TIF plans for Butler Township

CELINA - Mercer County Engineer Jim Wiechart wants to create a Tax Increment Financing District around the site of a proposed poultry farm operation in Butler Township to help pay for $2 million in road and drainage improvements.
