Mary Rammel
Mary K. Rammel, 72, of Fort Recovery, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Mercer Health in Coldwater.
She was born on March 1, 1952, in Coldwater to the late Paul and Alvina (Schulte) Rammel.
Mary is survived by her siblings, Margaret (Marvin "Pete") Bertke of Coldwater, Pauline (Robert) Schlarman of St. Henry, and Ann (Steve) Hoelscher of Minster; her sisters-in-law, Bev Kuck of New Bremen, Donna Rammel of St. Peter, and Susie Rammel of Fort Recovery; 24 nieces and nephews; a step niece and a step nephew; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles (Barbara Ann) Rammel, Louis Rammel, Cletus "Clete" Rammel, and Walter (Barbara Sue) Rammel.
Mary was a 1970 graduate of Fort Recovery High School. She worked for Eighth Floor Promotions in Celina, formerly known as Visions, until she retired. Mary enjoyed volunteering at the Mercer County Council of Aging and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and the church lady's sodality. In her free time, Mary enjoyed sewing, upholstering, and tending to her garden. Mary had a loving heart and enjoyed caring for others, especially her nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday December 23, 2024, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Sharpsburg, with Father Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Guests may visit with Mary's family on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Monday from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Brockman Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Mercer County Council on Aging, 217 Riley Street, Celina, Ohio 45822.
