Dale Sutter
Dale J. Sutter, 90, Coldwater, Ohio passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
He was born on April 20, 1934 to the late August and Elinor Laux Sutter. On July 11, 1959 he married Annette Brackman Sutter, and she survives in Coldwater, OH.
Also surviving are his children and grandchildren, David and Phyllis Sutter of St. Henry and their children, Rick (Shanna), Steve, Ryan (Lindsey), and Adam (Guylyn), Lorraine and Daniel Stelzer of Celina and their children, Jenna (Travis) Zigler, Justin (Melissa), and Jonathan (Janelle), Ron Sutter of Celina, Jerry and Michelle Sutter of Ft. Recovery and their children, Andrea (Lee) Stachler, Derek, Danielle (Matt) McGowan, Lucy and Dave Kaup of Ft. Recovery and their children, Rachel, Harrison, and Joelle, and Sandra Hartings of Celina and her children, Ashton and Sydney.
Dale also had 16 great grandchildren and is survived by a sister-in-law Joann Brackman of Englewood.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Elmer Klenke, and in-laws Linus and Frances Brackman, Dennis and Thelma Brackman, and Cyril Brackman, and great grandson, Bodhi Zigler.
Dale was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He retired from Goodyear after thirty years. Dale was a member of the American Legion and Holy Trinity Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, December 21 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial with military rites will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday, December 20, from 2PM to 7PM and on Saturday from 9AM to 9:30AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
