* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Frank Bowling
Frank D. Bowling, 90, of Saint Marys, died 9:34 A.M. Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Minster.
He was born December 19, 1933, in Fondee, Kentucky, the son of Marion and Georgie Lee (Richards) Bowling. He married Frances "Frankie" Lykins on July 20, 1957, in Rockholds, Kentucky, and she preceded him in death on May 25, 2012.
He is survived by his children: Mike (Denise) Bowling of Mendon; Cindy (David) Gayer of Saint Marys; Tim (Karen) Bowling of Saint Marys. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved dog, Sam.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his siblings: Lorene Williams; Gloria "Pee Wee" Partin; Susie Bowling and Jesse Andrews.
Frank was a veteran of the US Air Force. He retired from Huffy Manufacturing and was the longtime owner of Lakeside Archery in Saint Marys. He had attended Only Believe Ministries and was a member of Living Faith Ministries. He enjoyed archery and fishing and was a member of the Allen County Archers, and VFW Post 9289.
Funeral rites will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 20, 2024, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Pastor Larry McCollum, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services on Friday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to Everheart Hospice.
