* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Geraldine Beckett
Geraldine "Jerry" Beckett, 96, of St. Marys, OH died 8:40 p.m. Wednesday November 20, 2024 at St. Rita's Medical center in Lima, OH.
She was born October 10, 1928 in Van Wert Co., OH to Edmund and Sylvia (Powell) Allen.
On August 29, 1948 in St. Marys, OH she married James R. Beckett, who preceded her in death on September 12, 2021.
Survivors include: five children: Sally Williams, Lynne (Jack) Carmean, Michael (Susan) Beckett, James (Susan) Beckett II, Barbara (Rodney) Fisher, 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
Preceded in death by: parents Edmund and Sylvia Allen; husband James "Jim" Beckett; granddaughter Alicia Fisher; brother Robert Allen; brother Walter Allen.
She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1946). For many years, she served as the bookkeeper for Beckett's SOHIO in St. Marys. She was a member of the Wayne Street Church and Hawthorne Chapter OES # 119.
Jerry absolutely treasured the time she spent with her family, and especially enjoyed preparing meals for them.
Private family services will be held, with burial to follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Wayne Street Church.
