* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ronald Stetler
Ronald D. Stetler, 86, of Willshire passed away November 19, 2024 at his home.
He was born January 21, 1938, in his home, and was the son of the late Harold E. and Berneice (Becher) Stetler.
Ron was a draftsman and design engineer, who first worked at Magnavox, then later at International Harvester. He briefly worked at Chrysler before being called back to Navistar (formerly International Harvester). Ron retired from Navistar after many years of service.
He enjoyed walking, visiting with friends and family, and playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ron enthusiastically loved watching racing of every kind. He particularly loved watching car racing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his fiancee, Cecile "Jan" Schindler.
Surviving are Ron's daughter, Ronda L. Dorworth of West Chester, Ohio; grandchildren, Ashley (Jesse) Suttles of Liberty Township, Ohio, and Zachary (Stephanie) Dorworth of Phoenix, Arizona; great grandchildren, Roman Suttles and Isabella Suttles; Jan's sons, Colin Hirschy, Rodney Hirschy, and Kevin Hirschy; and Jan's grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm Friday, November 29, 2024 at Ketcham Ripley Funeral Home, 111 W. First Street, Rockford, OH 45882. The Rev. Adam Poe will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, 3750 US 33, Rockford, OH 45882.
The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service, Friday November 29, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 2:30 pm, at the funeral home.
