* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Craig DeMange
On Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 5:00PM, Craig J. DeMange, age 49, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family after battling cancer for over two years.
Craig was born August 13, 1975, in Versailles, OH, to Diana (Homan) and the late Carl DeMange. He is also survived by his wife, Carrie (Jennings) and children Ella and Cameron of Clarksville, OH, as well as siblings Cindi and Chris Gaiser of Chandler, AZ; Carla DeMange of Chandler, AZ; Chad and Cecilia DeMange of Mesa, AZ; in addition to nieces and nephews Derek and Gabby Gaiser, Ethan Gaiser, Trent Gaiser, Seth DeMange, Shane DeMange and Sofia DeMange.
Craig was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Paul and Helen DeMange of Versailles, OH, and maternal grandparents Joseph and Viola Homan of St. Sebastian, OH.
Craig graduated from Versailles High School in 1993 and continued his education at the University of Toledo earning a bachelor's degree in human resources where he was a member of PHI KAPPA PHI. He was passionate about being an active member of both the Versailles High School and University of Toledo marching bands playing baritone. Craig was employed at various corporations after college, most recently at Associa Community Management Solutions since 2018. He was a member of Elks Lodge 797.
Craig had a brilliant smile, sparkling eyes, and a kind heart. He loved spending time talking and joking with family and friends. Craig was extremely proud of his children and loved attending their events. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed cheering on the Bengals, Blue Jackets, Buckeyes, Reds, Rockets and the Versailles Tigers. Craig was so proud of his hometown of Versailles and loved attending family gatherings. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 25, 2024, 10:30AM, at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles, with Rev. Fr. Ned Brown, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery.
The family will receive from 2:00PM to 6:00PM on Sunday, November 24, 2024, and from 9:00AM to 10:00AM on Monday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles. Memorial contributions will go toward his kids' college funds.
