* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ralph Homan
Ralph A. Homan, 91, of Inverness, FL, passed away on November 10, 2024.
He was born in St. Anthony, OH, on to September 21, 1933, to the late Edward and Catherine Homan.
Mr. Homan worked as a concrete mason in the construction industry. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. His hobbies included fishing, vegetable gardening and growing blueberries.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Barbara Homan; and two sons, Randal Homan and his fiancé Petra, and Roger Homan and his wife Jennifer; grandsons, Dustyn Homan and fiancé Makenna Bruick, Dalton Homan and wife Madison and great grandson Holden, and Dakota Homan and significant other Brooke Perry.
On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, a Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM at Heinz Funeral Home in Inverness. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 AM, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Knights of Columbus #6391, 550 US Hwy. 41 S., Inverness, FL 34450.
