* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Viro Rosenbeck
Viro F. Rosenbeck age 81, of Versailles passed away at 5:35 pm Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Versailles Rehab & Healthcare Center.
Viro was born October 10, 1943, in Celina, Ohio, to the late Urban & Martha (Homan) Rosenbeck. Viro was also preceded in death by his brothers & sisters-in-law, Victor & Della Rosenbeck, Arnold & Dianne Rosenbeck, Elmer Rosenbeck and Jerry Rosenbeck; and in-laws, Mary Katherine Mangen, Pauline Brunswick, Cletus Mangen and Barbara Mangen.
Viro is survived by his wife of 49 years, Loretta (Mangen) Rosenbeck whom he married June 14, 1975; sons & daughters-in-law, Brian & Lisa Rosenbeck of Yorkshire and Chad & Jennifer Rosenbeck of Bradford; grandchildren, Corrie Rosenbeck, Brooke Rosenbeck and Briella Rosenbeck; brother & sister-in-law, John & Marilyn Rosenbeck of Ft. Loramie; sisters & brothers-in-law, Joan & Terry Brooke of Kettering, Mary & Steve Menchhofer of Rockbridge and Irene & John Siler of Dayton; in-laws, Carl Brunswick of Greenville, Kay Mangen of Versailles, Ervin Mangen of Rossburg, Basil & Linda Mangen of Versailles and Doris Mangen of Piqua; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viro worked at Mersman Tables in Celina, Trojan Asphalt in Piqua and Barrett Paving in Piqua. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Frenchtown. Viro was a former member of the Knights of Columbus in Versailles. He enjoyed tractors, tractor shows and dirt track racing.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Frenchtown with Rev. Fr. Ned Brown Celebrant. Burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 am at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles. Memorial contributions may be made to the Versailles Emergency Medical Services.
