* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Norbert Homan
Norbert J. Homan age 67 of New Bremen, Ohio, died on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at The James Cancer Center, Columbus, Ohio.
He was born on June 6, 1957 in Coldwater, Ohio to the late Maurice & Joann (Wesbecker) Homan. He married Joan Speelman on March 30, 1977 in Osgood, Ohio and she survives in New Bremen.
He is also survived by children: Jeremy & Tara Homan, Celina, Chad Homan New Bremen, Justin & Brittney Homan, Minster, 4 grandchildren: Emma, Ellee, Brooklyn, Peyton & McKinlee (dec), brothers & sisters: Jim & Debra Homan, New Bremen, Rita & Joe (dec) Prenger, Celina, Bob & Lisa Homan, Ft. Wayne, Cheryl & Billie (dec) Reynolds Jacksonville FL, Martha & Dale Borchers, St. Marys, Neal & Kathy Homan, Maria Stein, Charles & Tammy Homan, New Bremen, Evelyn & Christopher King, St. Henry, Edwin & Angelica Homan, New Bremen, Kathryn & Steve Bohman, Osgood, Karrie & Robert Will, Maria Stein, in-laws: Marlene & Michael Zimmerman, Sidney, Mark & Kathryn Speelman, Maria Stein, Janice & James Turner, Russia, Kathryn & Todd Stucke, Westlake, TX, Larry & Amy Speelman, New Bremen, Kelly & Andrew Bernhold, New Bremen, Craig & Lauren Speelman, Delaware, OH.
He was a member of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, New Bremen, was the co-owner and operator of Bruns and Homan Construction. He built a number of his siblings and in-laws homes.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, New Bremen. Burial to follow at Precious Blood Cemetery, Chickasaw.
Friends may call from 1:00 pm to 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 20, 2024 and from 9 to 10 am at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lake Loramie Improvement Association.
