* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Robert Kunk
Robert E. Kunk "Booner," age 76 of St. Henry passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Fenwick Marina in Oak Harbor, Ohio. He was born November 25, 1947, in Celina, Ohio, to the late Edward and Marcella (Klenke) Kunk. He married his wife Pat (Remaklus) Kunk on January 10, 1970. Pat survives at their home in rural St. Henry.
Other surviving family members include three children and their spouses: Todd and Linda Kunk of St. Henry, Kendra and TJ Hoke of Bellbrook, Meghann and Brad Hess of Rossburg; grandchildren include Courtney and Jacob Rindler, Riley, Jack, Brooklyn, and Bryce Kunk, Carter and Griffin Hoke, Taylor and Nicolas Shoemaker, and Nathan Bruns, two great grandchildren Archie Rindler and Lucy Shoemaker; and siblings and in-laws include Tom Gibbons, Jane (Gigandet) Kunk, Janet and Ron Niekamp, Paul and Annie Kunk, Rene and Dave Bollenbacher, and Ron and Judy Stout.
In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Dale Bruns, siblings Phyllis Gibbons and Donald Kunk, a brother-in-law Dick Remaklus, and his father and mother-in-law John & Betty Remaklus.
Bob was a member of Saint Henry Catholic Church in St. Henry. He retired from Reynolds and Reynolds and was co-owner of J & K Hardwoods as well as Booner Sports Fishing Charters. He was a long-time member of the Ft. Recovery Sportsmans Club and was and avid fisherman and hunter. Bob loved spending time in his woodshop and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at St. Henry Catholic Church. Following the funeral mass, burial will take place in St. Henry Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will follow the funeral and burial, at the St. Henry American Legion Hall from noon to 3 PM on Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County, or the American Heart Association.
