* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

Phyllis Gibbons
Phyllis Ann (Kunk) Gibbons, 80, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at the EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.
She was born on May 30, 1944, in Mercer County, Ohio, to the late Edward and Sally (Klenke) Kunk.
Phyllis is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Tom Gibbons, whom she married on October 19, 1963; her children, Brenda Paul of Greenville, and Linda (Jason) Roberts of Arcanum, her grandchildren, Kristin Tirado, Kayla Diamond, Jeffrey Paul, and Betsy Roberts; her great grandchildren, Westley Price, Garret Paul, and Elliot Paul; her siblings, Bob (Pat) Kunk of St. Henry, Janet (Ron) Niekamp of Montezuma, Paul (Annie) Kunk of St. Henry, and Irene (Dave) Bollenbacher of St. Henry; and her sister-in-law, Jane Kunk of Portland.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Greg Paul; and her brother, Don Kunk.
Phyllis enjoyed a vibrant life, having worked at Celina Mutual Insurance for 14 years and, alongside her husband Tom, owned and operated Creative Carpet in Greenville for 32 years. Her hobbies and interests included a love of camping, attending Country Concert for many years, and creating a cherished Snow Village display that she showcased during open houses. She also took great pride in maintaining beautiful flower beds around her home.
Phyllis spent her final days surrounded by her family, whom she loved endlessly. Phyllis will be remembered for her warm spirit, dedication to her family, and the joy she brought to those around her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 29, 2024, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenville. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
Guests may visit with Phyllis' family on Sunday, July 28, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM and again on Monday from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorial contributions may be given to EverHeart Hospice, 1350 N. Broadway Street, Greenville, Ohio 45331.
