* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Victor Waterman
Victor W. Waterman, 93, of St. Marys, died 3:45 P.M. Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
He was born February 17, 1931, in Lima, Ohio, the son of Leonard and Mathilda (Hare) Waterman.
He first married Lois Anderson and she preceded him in death; he later married Audra Gilbert, and she also preceded him in death.
He is survived by his daughters: Vicki Holbrook of Wapakoneta; Wanda Powell of Celina; Karla (Rob) Burden of St. Marys.
He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents;his two wives; his brother: Al (Carolyn) Waterman; by his great-grandson, Dakota Rostorfer.
Vic retired after 40 years of service at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Saint Marys, and he was a lifelong farmer. He had previously attended the Buckland United Church of Christ where he volunteered at the Fishes and Loaves meal each month. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards. Two of his favorite games were pinochle and hearts. He was a member of Eagles Lodge 767.
Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, the Reverend Tim Benjamin, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9:00-11:00 A.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
