* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Barbara Pfeiffer
Barbara "Barb" Ann (Evans) Pfeiffer, age 48, passed away on June 18, 2024, at 8:35 am at Mercy Health-St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born in St. Marys on February 24, 1976.
Barb is the daughter of Warner Evans, who preceded her in death, and Louann Hough who survives in Celina. She is also survived by her first husband, Steven Pfeiffer of Greenville Texas, and her fiancé, Matthew Carpenter of Mendon. Barb has three loving children, Austin Pfeiffer of Atlanta, Georgia, Ethan (Kendall) Pfeiffer of Emory, Texas, and Alexis Pfeiffer of Greenville, Texas. She also loved Matthew's children, Blakelynn & Mathew Jr. Carpenter. Barb adored her grandchildren, Ezekiel Pfeiffer and Raelynn Pfeiffer.
She is also survived by siblings, Julie Bowers of West Newton, Pennsylvania, Teresa (Luciano) Cherin of Vero Beach, Florida, Mary Jacobs of Celina, Loma (Danny) Moser of Ocala, Florida, James Evans of Celina, and Jason (Heather) Evans of Litchfield Park, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John Evans and Carl "Joe" Evans.
Barb loved caring for dogs and training them; she loved all kinds of dogs. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles with her fiancé Matt and trying her hand at interior design, showing her true talents. Most importantly, Barb loved spending time with her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 12:00 pm, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, with Pastor Matt Overman officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, before the services at the funeral home.
Private burial will take place at a later date.
