* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Irene Heckman
Irene Heckman, 82, passed away on May 23, 2024 in Flower Mound, Texas.
Irene was born on May 12, 1942 in Chickasaw, OH to Roman and Justine Kuess. She was the youngest of 7 kids. Irene married Paul Heckman on August 1, 1964 in Chickasaw, OH at Precious Blood Catholic church.
Irene joined Paul in his dairy farm operation where they worked side by side. They had four children while in Ohio. In 1978 Paul and Irene moved to Dalhart, TX. They switched from dairy farming to irrigated grain farming. She had her fifth child after moving to Texas. Since the Texas grain farm had no animals to care for Irene had more time to be very involved in St. Anthony's Catholic Church and school. After selling the farm in 2005 Paul and Irene enjoyed traveling. In 2016 Paul and Irene moved to Flower Mound for specialized medical services located close to one of their children.
Irene is survived by her husband, Paul Heckman, of Flower Mound, TX; her children and their spouses, Mark and Francine Heckman of Canyon, TX; Dennis and Faith Heckman of Flower Mound, TX; Connie and Nick Salas of Dalhart, TX; and Larry and Amy Heckman of Roggen, Colo. She was a grandmother to Jessica and Andy Heckman, Hailey Ball, Whitney, Stephen, Valerie, and Nicholas Salas, and Paul and Sydney Heckman. She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law Joyce Heckman and Aaron Rapport.
Memorial service was held Tuesday May 28, 2024 at Avanti Senior Living, 4041 Long Prairie Rd, Flower Mound, Texas.
