* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ronald Wilkins
Ronald "Ron" E. Wilkins, age 74 of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024 at the Gardens at Celina Nursing Home.
He was born the son of Ronald E. and Rosemary (Kohnen) Wilkins Sr. on September 27, 1949 in Celina, Ohio. On June 26, 1993 he married Connie Hawkins, who survives living in Celina.
Ron is also survived by his stepdaughter Jennifer Rowland of Columbus, brothers: Steve Wilkins of Sharps Chapel, Tenn.; John Wilkins of Castle Berry, Fla.; Robert Wilkins of Troy; Tim Wilkins of Soldotna, Alaska; Matthew Wilkins of Celina; and sisters Sue Allen of Terre Haute, Ind., Janice Hannah of Celina, and Diane Alt of Celina.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by brother Larry Wilkins.
Ron graduated from Celina High School with the Class of 1967. He retired as a firefighter and paramedic from the City of Celina and a deputy sheriff, working at the Mercer County Jail. Ron was a lifelong member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina and a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1800 in Celina.
A private family graveside service will be held in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Endowment Fund 229 W. Anthony St. Celina, Ohio 45822.
