* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Jack Lawler
Jack Lawler, 91, of St. Marys, died 7:38 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2024, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
He was born January 10, 1933, in St. Marys, the son of Willard and Audrey (Sweigart) Lawler.
He married Verlene Albers on July 23, 1955, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Minster, and she preceded him in death on Palm Sunday, March 28, 2021.
He is survived by his children: Cindy (Dane) Widner of St. Marys; Willard (Amy) Lawler of Springboro, Ohio; Jane (Rob) Menker of St. Marys; and Shawn (Sandy) Lawler of Troy, Ohio. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Jack was a 1951 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. He retired from Crown Equipment Corporation where was a division manager. Jack was one of the founders of the St. Marys Rider Rooters. He absolutely loved Roughriders football and he served on the field lining team for many years.
In appreciation for his years of dedicated service to the community, Jack was named a Builder of Bridges Award in 2020; and was also named to the St. Marys Memorial High School Hall of Fame. Jack was a real Irishman: he loved coffee and conversation, and also enjoyed traveling to Lake Erie and Rice Lake to fish with his family and friends. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fr. Rob Muhlenkamp, celebrant. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys.
Memorial gifts may be given to St. Jude's Children's' Hospital.
