* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Earl Winner
Earl E. Winner, age 82 of Minster, Ohio, died on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at his home.
He was born on August 10, 1941 in Minster, Ohio to the late Leo G.& Rosa C. (Evers) Winner. On March 8, 1984 he married Dianne Schluze Meyer. She survives in Minster.
He is also survived by children: Toby & Samantha Meyer, Cincinnati; Erica & Keith Leighton, Columbus; Brittany Winner & Ryan Gorman, Cincinnati; and Austin Winner & Emily Schroder, Covington, Ky.; eight grandchildren, brothers & sister Harold Winner, Evelyn Heitkamp, Norman & Carolyn Winner; in-laws: Barbara Winner, Luella Albers, Ralph & Rita Schulze.
He was preceded in death by brother Eugene Winner; in-laws Ann Winner, George Winner, Clarence Schulze, Vera Bemus, Urb Schulze, Al Schulze, Hilda Battson, Paul Schulze, Mary Magoteaux, Betty Baltes, Helen Frantz, and Norma Middendorf.
He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Osgood American Legion, one of the founding members of the Goat Farmers. He was a lifelong farmer, and worked for Winner Construction specializing in silo work, and an owner/operator of many local establishments. He was a 1959 graduate of Minster High School. He enjoyed boating and snowmobiling with friends and especially loved sharing stories with children & grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 29, 2024 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster with burial to follow in St. Augustine Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 1 to 5 p.m. and on Monday, April 29 from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Association of Auglaize County.
