"Patience"
I raised a family
I worked all my life
I had friends
And a loving wife

Now I have to deal
With what happens as time goes by
This is why that on you
I always must rely

My eyes don't see well
My hands shake a lot
My ears don't hear well
I need your help a lot

I know you're busy
But I have to have some help
I miss my life I had
With my family, friends and wife
So please be patient with me
You are all I have now
Until the end of my life

I was young once just like you
I worked hard and raised a family too
Time has taken a lot from me
Now I need you

I miss church, I miss work
And my friends and family too
My eyes and legs and hands don't work
Now I need you

A smile and touch mean so much
When I am feeling blue
I have trouble a lot
Now I need you

So remember you are all I've got
To help me and go to the pot!
Please remember I was once like you
Be patient with me
Now I need you!
