Rockford man dies in UTV accident

DUBLIN TOWNSHIP - A Rockford man died of injuries suffered in a utility terrain vehicle accident shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday on Rockford West Road.
Dylan R. Bigelow, 25, of Rockford was driving a UTV when he went off the road, overcorrected and lost control, sending the vehicle into a ditch, according to the Mercer County Sheriff's Office. Bigelow was ejected from the vehicle, an official said.
Bigelow was taken by ambulance to Van Wert Hospital when he died.
This was the second fatal traffic accident in 2024, according. to the sheriff's office.
Rockford EMS and Rockford Fire Department assisted at the scene.
