Hisey becomes first local wrestler to win state title

COLUMBUS - The clock struck zero for Tate Hisey on Sunday evening.

A year after losing in overtime in his last match of the tournament, the St. Marys junior ran the table and won the Division II 126-pound state championship at the 87th state wrestling tournament at the Schottenstein Center on the campus of The Ohio State University. [More]

The season ended for the Celina girls bowling team on Saturday at the Division I state tournament at HP Lanes in Columbus.
The Bulldogs, making their first state appearance as a team, were unable to finish in the top eight to qualify for the championship round. Celina bowled a 2,504 in the three regulation games, then bowled a 452 in the baker games for a score of 2,956, putting them 11th in the field. [More]
