* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Tina Travis
Tina Marie Travis, age 66 of Minster, Ohio, died on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Everheart Hospice Inpatient Unit at Wayne Hospital, Greenville, Ohio.
She was born on November 2, 1957 in Minster, Ohio to the late John P. & Margaret "Marge" (Wetzel) Slonkosky. Her mother survives in Minster. She married Thomas Travis on August 13, 1983 in St. Augustine Church, Minster and he survives in Minster.
She is also survived by children: Mary & Craig Borchers, Russia; Margaret & Marshal Brame, Minster; Martin & Lisa Travis, Hillard; Mark Travis, Minster; Michael & Megan Travis, Perrysburg; Matthew & Peyton Travis, Louisville; Marlene Travis & fiancé Michael Gannon, Minster; Maximilian Travis, Minster; Marcella Travis & fiancé Adam Lefeld, Minster; 9 grandchildren, brothers and sisters: Joe Grome, Cincinnati; Margo & Bud Lewis, Wilmington; Mary Slonkosky, Minster; Andy & Patty Slonkosky, Minster; Jessica and Joe Zuniga, Cumming, Ga.; Mimi & Tim Burke, Minster; Polly & Alan Barga, Minster; Eddie & Mary Lou Slonkosky, Minster; and Sr. Mary John Slonkosky, congregation of Nashville Dominicans of St. Cecilia.
She was preceded in death by her father, sister Amy Grome, and brother Casey Slonkosky.
Tina grew up across the street from St. Augustine Catholic church in Minster. She regularly ascended the steps to the front doors of the church with her parents and siblings, which began her life focused on faith and family. In high school, she was a proud member of the first Minster girls state championship track team and in the Minster graduating class of 1976 and an alumna of the College of Mount St. Joe, Cincinnati. In 1983 she married Tom Travis in St. Augustine Catholic Church and moved to New Bremen where they lived for more than 33 years. She had 9 children who were her pride and joy. She dedicated her life to teaching and raising her own children as well as many other children in the surrounding schools of the area. She loved her time working at the Cornerstone Gift Shop in New Bremen. She was also a member of the Serra Club and Holy Rosary Choir. Recently Tom & Tina moved to her hometown of Minster where she lovingly looked at Jesus from her front living room window.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster with burial to follow in St. Augustine Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 2 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday, February 22 from 8:30 to 9 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia.
