* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Jerry Triplett
Jerry Triplett, 89, of Saint Marys, died Friday, February 16, 2024, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
He was born Saturday, October 27, 1934, in Hollybush, Kentucky, the son of Sylvester and Clarinda (Jacobs) Triplett.
He married Mary Roberts on June 28, 1955, in Hindman, Kentucky, and she preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children: Deborah (Thomas) Frilling of Saint Marys; Rita (Wade) Moran of Saint Marys; Penny (Rod) Ahlers of Saint Marys; Jeff (Susan) Triplett of Celina; Janet Moran of Saint Marys; Missy (Kurt) Quellhorst of Saint Marys; Wes (Kristy) Triplett of Morrow, Ohio. He is survived by his 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; by his siblings: Oliver Triplett of Saint Marys; Jane Lewis of Coldwater.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by his wife; by a son, Jerry Dale Triplett; by his grandsons: John Wes Moran; Brock Moran; Lucas Moran; by his siblings: Amos Triplett; Irvin Triplett; Steve Triplett; Gracie Jacobs; Mazie Slone; Sid Moran; Corsbia Thornsberry; Mary Slone; Joy Donovan; Annie Farley; by his best friend and brother-in-law, Clyde Roberts. His son-in-law, Scott Moran, died February 17, 2024.
Jerry went to Hollybush School; he was fond of saying that he went in the front door and out the back door! He retired from Goodyear Saint Marys and attended the Garden of Love Old Regular Baptist Church in Saint Marys; He enjoyed taking his family golfing, deer hunting. He also enjoyed watching old western movies with them, splitting firewood and playing cards and bingo.
Funeral rites will be held 10:00 A.M Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, Brother Gary Mosley and Brother Billy Mosley, officiants. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to the Garden Of Love Old Regular Baptist Church.
