* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Kenneth Dennis
Kenneth Ray Dennis, 76, of Celina, passed away February 15, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.
Kenny was loved by everyone who met him. Kenny was a longtime member of the Eagles. He enjoyed bowling with his friends. He was fun-loving, and generous, he also enjoyed gambling, rolling down the highway in his 18-wheeler, and hanging out with family and friends.
Kenny is survived by his sister, Mona (Larry) Shinaberry, Celina, his children: Jen Dennis, St. Marys; Joni (Kyle) Minnich, Celina; Charles (Tiffany Alderton) Dennis, Celina; Mattie Dennis, St. Marys; Michelle Trombley, Roeland Park, Kan.; Kendra (Dan) Boggs, Mansfield; Kenneth (Cydnie) Dennis II and Jenny Lou Kinney (Tyler Winhoven), all of Celina, 31 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Gillis "Whitey" and Edna Dennis, daughters: Mary Lentz and Angel Dennis, and sisters: Gilda Trobridge and Carolyn Zizelman.
Calling hours will be held at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, on Saturday, February 17, from noon to 2 p.m. followed by the funeral service, starting at 2. Burial will take place at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
