* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Thomas Busse
Thomas V. Busse, age 73, passed away on January 28, 2024.
He was born on May 13, 1950, to the late Vernon and Jane (nee Dorsten) Busse.
Thomas was the beloved husband of Carolyn (nee Hinkle) Busse; loving father of Joe Busse and the late Christine Marie Busse; dear brother of Jill (Doug) Jennings, Joan (Mike) Buschur, Lisa (David) Crouch, and the late Bruce (surviving Annette) Busse. Thomas was also an honorary grandfather and great-grandfather.
Throughout his life, Thomas devoted himself to philanthropy and community service. He served on the Greater Newtown Civic League and park board, worked with Habitat for Humanity, and hosted three foreign exchange students and several foster children and friends.
Friends and family may visit on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 10 A.M. until 12 P.M. Catholic Prayer service at Moore Family Funeral Homes, 6708 Main Street, Newtown, Ohio 45244. Interment will follow at Batavia Union Cemetery.
