Henry Heuker
Henry Harold Heuker, age 94 of Minster, Ohio, died at 8:00 a.m. on January 24, 2024 at Otterbein St. Marys.
He was born on December 1, 1929 in Ft. Recovery, Ohio to the late Henry & Loretta (Rammel) Heuker. Harold married Eileen Hemmelgarn on May 3, 1952 in St. Bernard Church, Burkettsville and she preceded him in death on December 20, 2022.
He is survived by children: Marge Heuker, Minster, Teresa (deceased) & Dave Brickner, Toledo, Jim & Peggy Heuker, Tampa FL, Dorothy & Dave Higginbothom, The Villages, FL, Paul & Shelly Heuker, Minster, David Heuker, Minster, Alan & Jennifer Heuker, Milford, Nancy & Chris Wilson, St. Marys, Joan & Lance Forshay, Puyallup, WA, Ken & Sonja Heuker, Edgewood, KY, Joe & Courtney Heuker, Troy, 31 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, brothers & sisters: Marie Brunswick, Ft. Recovery, Edwin & Sue Heuker, New Bremen, Susanna Heuker, Botkins, Hilda & Norman Alig, St. Anthony, Helen & Bob Smith, Ft. Recovery, sister-in-law: Dianne Hemmelgarn, North Star.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jenny Sugg, brothers & sisters: Marcella & Virgil Stammen, Donald Brunswick, Charles Heuker, Donald Heuker, John Heuker, Joseph Heuker, in-laws: Adella & Jerry Halpin, Alberta Rose Hemmelgarn, Bertilla & Paul Ernst, Alma & Joe Graves, Leonard & Berdella Hemmelgarn, Edward & Ruth Hemmelgarn, Dorothy Hemmelgarn, Albert & Ruth Hemmelgarn, Ivo & Doris Hemmelgarn, Anna Lee & Chuck Roessner.
Harold was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, the Men's Choir for over 45 years, the Travelers Protection Association and a Cub Scout Leader and Boy Scout Committee Member for many years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Friday, February 2, 2024 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster with burial to follow in St. Augustine Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster on Thursday, February 1 from 3 to 7 PM and from 9 to 9:30 AM on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grand Lake Hospice.
