* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Bernard Reier
Bernard G. Reier, 66, of St. Marys, died on Friday, December 8, 2023, at his residence.
He was born January 29, 1957, in St. Marys, the son of Leonard and Thelma (Kemper) Reier. He married Liza Pabonan on February 21, 2016, and she survives at the residence.
He is also survived by his children: Adam Reier of Denver, Colorado; Theresa Reier of Huntsville, Alabama; Monica Reier of Huntsville, Alabama. He is survived by his sisters: Althea Clugston of Cromwell, Indiana; Della Schaaf of St. Marys; Ellen (Kevin) Paul of New Knoxville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by a daughter, Brandy Reier.
Bernard was a 1976 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. He was a veteran of the US Army, and retired from the military after 28.5 years of service to our country. In retirement, he was a truck driver. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys, and he enjoyed gardening and raising rabbits.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 15, 2023, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys, Father Rob Muhlenkamp, celebrant. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-7 P.M. Thursday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, and from 9:00 AM-10:30 AM Friday.
