* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

Cyril Brunswick
Cyril "Cy" L. Brunswick, 70, of Fort Recovery, Ohio, passed away peacefully during the early hours of Saturday, December 2, 2023, at the James Cancer Center at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born on March 14, 1953, in Celina, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Cleophia (Eckstein) Brunswick.
Cy is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Donna (Reichert) Brunswick, whom he married on May 4, 1974; his children, Bob (Kelly) Brunswick of Fort Recovery, Susie (John) Schoenlein of Coldwater, Ohio, Joe (Kay) Brunswick of Fort Recovery, Rick (Chelsee) Brunswick of Portland, Cindy (Chad) Fifer of Portland, and Dale (Tami) Brunswick of Fort Recovery; his 19 grandchildren; his siblings, Anna Marie Hale of Greenville, Ken (Ann) Brunswick of Bryant, Eileen (Jerry) Bohman of Chickasaw, Gene Brunswick of Coldwater, Roger (Kathy) Brunswick of Saint Henry, and Ginny (Paul) Fortkamp of Fort Recovery; his sister-in-law, Ruth Brunswick of Carthagena; his in-laws, Kathy (Bill) Howard of Saint Henry, Ed Reichert of Maria Stein, Irene (Ralph) Roessner of Fort Recovery, Karen (Ed) Rauh of New Weston, Dan (Sandy) Reichert of Celina, Evelyn (Tom) Young of Celina, Junior Reichert of Paradise, Texas, Larry (Lynne) Reichert of Maria Stein, and Ron "Hank" (Julie) Reichert of Osgood.
In addition to his parents, Cy was preceded in death by his daughter, Christine Brunswick; his brothers, Leon Brunswick and Lester Brunswick; his brothers-in-law, Jay Hale and Elmer Schlamb; his sister-in-law, Jeanette Brunswick; and his in-laws, Judy Johnson and Ernie Reichert.
Cy was a 1971 graduate of Saint Henry High School. He worked for Crown as a Facility and Maintenance manager until his retirement in 2019. He was a former member of the Fort Recovery School Board and the Mercer Health Hospital Board. Cy was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the Fort Recovery Knights of Columbus. Cy enjoyed all things woodworking and spent many hours helping his grandchildren with their own wood projects. He also enjoyed going camping and supporting his children and grandchildren in all their activities.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at St. Peter Catholic Church with Father Ethan Hoying celebrating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Guests may visit with Cy's family on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until 9:45 AM at Brockman Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery. A Knights of Columbus prayer service will take place at 6:45 PM on Tuesday.
