Robert L. Huey, 78, Mendon, OH, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023, in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
  He was born in Celina, OH on May 27, 1945 to the late Earl and Lavuah (Hines) Huey.
  He was a carpenter and loved to build things.
  Robert is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Roberts, Bellevue, OH: son, Roger Huey, Sandusky, OH; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters, Mary, Connie, Dorothy, Norma, Hazel, Alice and Judy; brothers, John and Lloyd; several nieces and nephews.
  He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robert Jr.; grandsons, Quintin and Austin; sister, Joanne; brothers, Dan, Paul, Charlie, and Gary.
  A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M., Wednesday, November 22, 2023 in Mendon Cemetery, Mendon, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
