Kathleen Young
Kathleen M. Young, age 99, of Montezuma died on Friday, November 3, 2023 in Celina, Ohio.
She was born on December 17, 1923 in Frenchtown to the late Leonard & Ursula (McEldowney) Bulcher. May 23, 1942 in Frenchtown she married Ralph Young and he preceded her in 2000.
She is survived by children, Roger & Diane Young of La Follette, Tennessee and Jerry & Jean Young of Ansonia; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and brother, Charles Bulcher of Greenville.
She was preceded in death by infant son, Teddy Young, daughters, Paula Smith and Donna Barnes, and siblings, Lewis Bulcher, John Bulcher, Bernerd Bulcher, Larry Bulcher, Rita Glick, and Germaine Wallace.
Katie was a former employee of Sheller-Globe in Union City, Indiana. She attended Versailles Schools. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Montezuma and the Celina Moose Lodge. Katie enjoyed her time with her family and friends around Grand Lake St. Marys, especially the Shingle Shack.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 9, at 10:30am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Montezuma. Internment will follow at Greenville Township Memory Gardens in Greenville.
Friends may call from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday November 8, and from 9am to 10am on Thursday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to EverHeart Hospice or the Area Agency on Aging-Lima, Ohio.
