* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Shirley Harold
Shirley Ann Harold, 92, of St. Marys, died at 4:04 P.M. Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Vancrest of St. Marys Nursing Home.
She was born October 19, 1930, in St. Marys, the daughter of Leland and Vernie (Gibson) Wilges.
She first married David F. Cathcart, and he died in 1969. She later married Raymond Harold, and he also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children: Susan (Mark) Kleinhenz of St. Marys; David Craig Cathcart of Tampa, Florida. Also surviving are her four grandchildren: Luke (Stacy) Kleinhenz; Matthew (Sejal) Kleinhenz; Jon (Rebecca) Kleinhenz; Angie (Cain) Doliboa. She is also survived by her seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husbands, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Wilges and William Wilges.
Shirley was a 1948 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. She worked for many years in the office of Dr. John Bowling, M.D. and later for St. Marys Family Practice. She loved to travel, bake, play her piano and go to bingo. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in St. Marys.
Private family graveside rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 23, at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
