Christine Dean
Christine "Chris" "Tommie" (Brown) Dean, 79, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on September 7, 2023, at Elmwood Assisted Living in New Bremen. She was born on July 7, 1944, in Coldwater, Michigan.
On October 9, 1965, she married Dick Dean and he survives in New Bremen. Other survivors include her daughters, Rebecca (David) Cavanaugh, Sister Bay, Wisconsin and Kathy (John) Higgins, Celina; a sister, Kay (Spencer) Dunn; three grandchildren, Jessica (Matt) Lomakin, Nathan (Andrea) Higgins and Lauren Higgins; two great granddaughters, Harper & Taylor Lomakin; and a great grandson, Henry Higgins.
She is preceded in death by her father, Frank Brown; and stepfather and mother, Deo and Margaret June (Wesner) Eitnier.
Chris was a homemaker and worked as a merchandiser for American Greeting Cards. She was a member of Celina Kiwanis where she volunteered with the Aktion Club, Mercer County and The ARC, Columbus.
She enjoyed going for scooter rides, walking in the park, baking, cooking, crafting, traveling and most of all spending time with her family.
Memorial services will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina with Rev. Matt Overman officiating; where the family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am prior to the services.
Following the services, the family invites everyone to join them at the funeral home for a luncheon and a continued celebration of Christine's life.
