CELINA - An overwhelming display of love for a nearly 30-year-old draft horse named Tacoma turned what could have been a disheartening initial fair appearance into an unforgettable, confidence-building experience for 9-year-old Russell Dues.

CELINA - The rainy and cool conditions did not dampen the season opener for the Celina girls soccer team.
The Bulldogs scored three times in the second half to bolster a 1-0 halftime lead and pick up a win over Ottoville 4-1 in the lidlifter at the soccer stadium.
Kelly Holsinger scored with just under 25 minutes to play to give St. Marys a 2-1 victory over Bryan in the girls soccer opener for both teams at Recreation Park in Bryan.
