* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Jewell Sullivan
Jewell Faye Sullivan, 90, of St. Marys, OH died 9:40 p.m. Monday July 17, 2023 at Otterbein - St. Marys.
She was born December 7, 1932 in Martin, KY to Ed and Rhoda (Flannery) Halbert. On April 27, 1957 in Portland, IN she married Jack L. Sullivan, who died January 9, 2017.
Survivors include: daughter Karen (Randy) Dicke of St. Marys, OH; son Darryl (Arleen) Sullivan of Celina, OH; 10 grandchildren: Melissa Pierce, Michelle Martin, Jodie Ramey, Lacy Ramey, Gabrielle Arnold, Brett Gilliland, Bryan Gilliland, Cassie Sullivan, Amaris Welch, Brandi Francis; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; sister Jonette Halbert of Prestonsburg, KY; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: parents Ed and Rhoda Halbert; husband Jack Sullivan; daughter Donnette Gilliland; daughter Marsha Arnold; brother Stanley Halbert; brother Donahue Halbert; brother Gary Halbert.
She retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in St. Marys after 34 years of service. Following retirement, she and Jack moved to Sebring, FL for a number of years. Her favorite pastimes included camping, boating, going on cruises, gardening, camping, crocheting afghans, having a cool refreshment by the swimming pool and socializing with friends.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 12:00 noon Saturday July 22, 2023 at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys. The Rev. Bruce McDaniel will officiate the services. Private family burial will take place at the Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton, OH.
Visitation 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon on Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Lake Improvement Association, St. Marys Community Foundation (Spirit of '76 Scholarship Fund) or the donor's choice.
