* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Daniel Huelsman
Daniel L. Huelsman, age 75, of Sidney, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Dayton VA Medical Center.
He was born on November 10, 1947, in Coldwater, OH, to Wilma (Dues) Huelsman Nabor of Minster and the late LeRoy Huelsman. On November 26, 1971, he married Emma (Schmiesing) Huelsman and she survives.
In addition to his mother and his wife, Daniel is survived by children: Cassandra (Brian) Phipps of West Jefferson, OH, Aaron (Stacy) Huelsman of Belleview, MI, Edwin (Charlotte) Huelsman of Ft. Loramie, OH, Matt Huelsman of Clarksville, OH, Carolyn (James) Massingale of Sidney, OH and Catharine Oder of Sidney, OH; 12 grandchildren: 3 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Mary Gay (Mark) Jackson of Columbus, OH, Glenn (Shirley) Huelsman of Gastonia, NC and Randy (Thelma) Huelsman of Minster, OH; Brian (Gayle) Huelsman of Minster, OH and Robin (Joannie) Huelsman of Celina, OH.
In addition to his father, Daniel was preceded in death by his step-father, Vernon Nabor, and grandson, Rickie Fosnough.
Daniel was a 1966 graduate of Minster High School. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Army during the Vietnam War. Daniel was a member of Sidney American Legion Post #217. He was a jack-of-all-trades. He was a plumber for many years, a farmer, and a realtor. Daniel enjoyed fishing, camping, collecting antique cars, and playing pinochle. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Memorial mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 24, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 9333 St. Rt. 119, Anna, OH. Full military honors will be presented by Shelby County Veterans and US Army.
Family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 PM on Sunday at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH.
Memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers.
