Ronnie Slone
Ronnie Slone, 69, of St. Marys, died 2:14 P.M. Monday, April 10, 2023, at St. Ritas Medical Center, Lima.
He was born May 3, 1953, in Knott County, Kentucky, the son of Art and Anna (Huff) Slone. He married Louvondia "Bonnie" Prater on June 17, 1972, in St. Marys and she survives in St. Marys.
He is also survived by his children: Nicole (Scott) McWiliams of Findlay; Kimberly (Daniel) Enoch of St. Marys. He is survived by his siblings: Larry (Edna) Slone; Terry (Marilyn) Slone; Jr. (Jan) Slone; Duane Drummone; David (Tammy) Drummond; Dawn (Chad) Hennon. He is survived by his step-mother, Jan Slone. He is survived by his grandchildren: Alyssa (Wes) Corbin; Jacob (Jordan Torgunrud) McWilliams; Tasen (Alvina) Enoch; Parker Enoch; Gavin Enoch; David McWilliams; by his great-grandchildren: Thiago Enoch; Cameron Corbin; Gabriel Enoch; Calvin Corbin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Art Slone; by his mother Anna Slone Drummond.
Ronnie was a graduate of Celina High School. He retired from Agway/Pro-Pet in 2013. He enjoyed woodworking, traveling to Tennessee; and coin collecting with his grandson. He was also a professional photographer.
Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 14, 2023, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, Ohio, Pastor Steve Rumschlag, officiant. Private family burial rites will be held at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to support area Blessing Box Food Pantries.
