* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Robert Hoenie
Robert Andrew Hoenie, age 92 of Celina passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023 at his residence in Celina.
He was born on December 28, 1930 to the late Merle and Janelle (Lucas) Hoenie in Celina. On May 18, 1974, he married Nancy Pendleton who survives in Celina.
He is also survived by his daughters Tiffany Marie Hoenie (Cari Schirtzinger) of Columbus, JoNell (Doug) Earley of Columbus, sister Diana Winget of Elida, two grandsons Kody Zeake Leonard of McKinney, TX, and Jackson Andrew Early of Columbus.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Audra (Ray) McArthur, and brother-in-law Bud Winget.
Robert graduated from Ohio School for the Deaf with the class of 1953. He was formerly employed at the Evening Leader as a Lino Type operator and a printer until he retired in 1996 after 31 years. He loved traveling, and playing the lottery and raffles. He enjoyed watching the Buckeye football team, joking around and laughing, acting in plays, roller skating, and dancing. He was an avid believer in find a penny pick it up. He always had a smile and a wave for everyone, he was the most gentle and kind soul anyone could ever meet. He was a member of Good Shepherd of the Deaf Lutheran Church in Toledo.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home, with Rev. Shirrel Petzoldz officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in the Mercer Memory gardens Cemetery.
Friends and family may call from 3:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio School for the Deaf Alumni Association, 1055 Colony Dr. Westerville, OH 43081.
