Judy Bergman
Judy A. Bergman, age 64, of Yorkshire, died Thursday morning, March 16, 2023, at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney.
She was born April 16, 1958, in Coldwater, to the late Ralph & Mary (Boeckman) Tumbusch.
On May 5, 1984, she married Dennis Bergman. Dennis survives in Yorkshire.
Also surviving Judy are four children: Heather & Tyler Ashman of Greenville, Holly Bergman and fiancé Josh Donovan of Piqua, Mitchell Bergman of Yorkshire, and Brandon Abruzzo of Michigan, three beloved granddaughters, Hailey, Carli, and Catherine, as well as siblings: Linda & Paul Cupito, Randy & Nancy Tumbusch, Elaine Pickering & Dave Stroh, Janice & Mike Feltz, Kevin & Sheila Tumbusch, Dan & Lisa Tumbusch, and in-laws: Diane & Jim Pleiman, Shelley & Peter This, Pam Bergman, Stacy Sallmen, and Jennifer Bergman.
Judy graduated from St. Henry High School in 1977 and became a licensed cosmetologist. She worked at Huffy's Bicycle in Celina for 20 years. Judy also worked at nursing homes and did babysitting out of her home for a number of years. She and her husband attended True Life Church in Greenville. Judy loved Jesus, and she loved to worship him. If you met Judy, you wouldn't forget her. She would light up a room when she walked in, and she never met a stranger. She loved people, most of all she loved her family. Happiness for Judy was a handful of chocolate and spending time with her granddaughters.
Judy was a warrior. She was a breast cancer survivor, and she was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy in 2013. She took on each challenge with determination, and she was clothed in strength. She will be missed terribly by her loved ones.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 21, at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry. Burial will follow the services in the St. Henry Cemetery.
Friends and family may call from 3:00pm - 8:00pm on Monday, March 20, and from 9:30am - until the start of the service on Tuesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
