* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ronald Rasberry
Ronald A. Rasberry, Sr., 65, of Genoa, Ohio, and formerly of Celina, died 7:36 A.M. Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at St. Charles Hospital in Oregon, Ohio.
He was born December 7, 1957, in St Marys, the son of Arvle and Iva (Vandevier) Rasberry.
He is survived by his sons: Ronald Rasberry, Jr. (and fiance Lauren Meyer) of Gibsonburg, Ohio; Brandon (Kayla Phillips) Rasberry of Genoa; by his former wife, Tammy Rasberry of Celina; by his sister, Carol Mullins of Celina.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by his siblings: Vicky Rasberry; Wanda Derossett; Tony Rasberry; Gary Rasberry; Don Rasberry; Linda Clark; Connie Rasberry.
Ron was a graduate of Mendon High School. He was a well known professional musician and fronted numerous bands over the years including Opal, Dartanyun, and Rasberry Jam. He toured with Vassar Clements and loved playing music with his sons as Ras and Sons. He liked to fish when he had time. Ron was an incredible singer and guitarist who wrote and recorded many songs over the years. His music, based in the blues, country and rock, was soulful and emotional.
Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, Pastor Randy Christian, officiant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery near Mendon.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home, where memorial donations may be given to Ron's final expenses.
