* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

Dorothy Kanney
Dorothy M. Kanney, age 92, of Briarwood and formerly St. Henry died Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Mercer Health, Coldwater.
She was born August 21, 1930, in Osgood, to the late Anthony & Sophia (Hartings) Drees. On September 30, 1950, she married Robert O. Kanney. Dot and Bob were married almost 60 years before his passing on April 15, 2010.
Surviving Dot are children: Roberta Kanney of St. Henry, Robert Jr. & Kim Kanney, Leo, IN, Chuck & Deb Kanney, Deb & Fred Schwartz of St. Henry and Dave & Patti Kanney of Greenville. Also surviving are nine grandchildren - John Malkoski Jr. (Diane) of Toledo, OH, Julie Robicheaux (Tim) of Seattle, WA, Josh & Sofia Kanney of Chicago, IL, Kimberly Kanney & partner Scout from MO, Karla Zimmer (Doug) Greenville, OH, Bryan Kanney, Boston, MA, Greg Schwartz (Cami), Jay Schwartz (Molly) of St. Henry and Christa Sextro (Brian) of Minster, OH.
In addition to her husband and parents, Dot is preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Kanney, siblings: Clem, Larry and Walt Drees, Marietta Mueller, Rose Gruss, Bernie Wendel , Regina Wendel and in-laws Margie, Vince, Della and Mary Ann Kanney, & Betty Weitzel. She was the last surviving member of the Anthony Drees family.
Dot was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church in St. Henry, as well as the Christian Mother's Sodality of the church. She was a member of the St. Henry Legion Auxiliary, the Coldwater VFW Auxiliary, the Coldwater Eagles Auxiliary, and the Mercer County DAV Auxiliary. Dot had volunteered at the hospital in Coldwater and for The Red Cross Blood Center for 20 years. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo and visiting with family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 16th at St. Henry Church. Burial will follow the funeral mass in the St. Henry Cemetery.
Friends and family may call from 3:00pm-7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 15, and from 9:00am-10am on Thursday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Activity Fund at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.
