* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Thomas Hughes
Thomas W. Hughes, 69, of Celina, OH died 5:49 a.m. Monday January 30, 2023 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, OH.
He was born May 24, 1953 in New Market, IN to Dr. Dorman and Eugenia D. (Rich) Hughes. He was a loving husband of 28 years to Michelle (Balcerzak) Hughes, who survives.
Also survived by: daughter Tiffany Hughes-Busch of Celina, OH; daughter-in-law Shaunda Burkholder-Hughes of Celina, OH; sister Cathy Burns of Decatur, IN; sister Nancy Millstone of Carmel, IN; 14 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; close family friend Dan Sendelbach; Trucking Buddies: Jim (Annette) Blanchard of Darien, NY; Charles (Jenny) McCormick of Henderson, KY; Bryan Searcy of Idaho;; William (Abby) Abbott of Colombia, MO; William (Carol) Coker of Charleston, SC.
Preceded in death by: parents Dr. Dorman and Eugenia Hughes; son Joseph B. Hughes; brother-in-law Ed Burns; uncle Meredith (Janice) Hughes.
A proud American, he served his country in the United States Navy. He was a career driver in the commercial transportation industry, including many years working for Schaffer Trucking in Lincoln, NE. Thomas truly enjoyed his occupation and cherished the time spent on the open roads. He also enjoyed working on his computer. His fun-loving personality will be missed greatly by those who knew him.
A time of visitation and sharing for family and friends is scheduled for 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Saturday February 4, 2023 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys.
