* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Nancy Scott
Nancy Scott, 97, of Wapakoneta, died 9:30 p.m., Fri. Jan. 27, 2023, at Cridersville Health Care.
She was born Oct. 1, 1925, Newcastle-On-Tyne, England, the daughter of the late Frederick W. & Annie J. (Storer) Barber. On May 8, 1944, she married Robert H. Scott, and he preceded her in death on Apr. 24, 1989.
Survivors include, 2 children, Kenneth (Mary) Scott, Durango, CO, Joy Ann Mason, Wapakoneta; 4 grandchildren, Aaron J. (Shelley) Mason, Jennifer (Mark Croy) Bryars, Tori (Sesh) Kanury, Jason (Susan Lippert) Scott; 4 great grandchildren, Alexandria (Jared) Schick, Haylee (Chris Brennan) Bryars, Megan Bryars, Samantha Katz.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Ken Mason, a brother, Frederick Barber, and a close friend, Calvin Lammers.
A homemaker, Nancy was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Wapakoneta. She was a member of the British Land Army, and had volunteered at Lima Memorial Hospital. Nancy enjoyed a cup of tea anytime of the day. She also enjoyed reading, walking, ballroom dancing, and the water.
In keeping with Nancy's wishes, there are no public services planned.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Lima Memorial Health System, the American Cancer Society, or the charity of the donor's choice.
