* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

Dorothy Davis
Dorothy Ellen Davis, age 95, of Celina, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Mercer Health in Coldwater.
She was born October 7, 1927, in Mercer County, to the late Homer & Leota (Nichols) Greene. Dorothy Ellen and Forest Edward Davis were united in marriage on September 29, 1951, and he preceded her in death July 15, 1995.
Surviving is their daughter, Carla Sue (Randy) Niblick of Celina, and sons: Edward Lee (Peg) Davis of Fort Wayne and Daniel Warren (Lisa) Davis of Celina, 3 grandchildren: Sherri Schwieterman (Tracy Elzy) of Yellow Springs, and Alexander (Elizabeth) Davis and Hannah Davis of Celina, 2 step-grandchildren, Adam (Marie) Niblick of Lebanon, New Hampshire and Zachary (Amanda) Niblick of Grove City, 3 great grandchildren: Grant, Everett and Brooks, 2 step-great grandchildren: Bryce and Marlowe, and Dorothy's caregiver, Kathy Reed.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Violet & Herman Daring, Daisy Davis, Norman & Vivian Davis, and Fern & Paul Moorman.
After graduating with the Mendon-Union High School Class of 1945, Dorothy earned her Bachelor of Science in Education Degree from Miami University, and her Masters of Education from Wright State University. She worked as an elementary teacher for 30 years, primarily in the third and sixth grades at Celina City Schools. Dorothy had many interests and talents. She enjoyed music, and played the organ, guitar, and ukulele. She was artistic, and enjoyed painting. Over the years, she was involved in various crafts, including stained glass and doll making.
She also was a poet and writer, and enjoyed reading. Outdoor activities she participated in were herb gardening, bird watching, and taking care of cats. She had an interest in genealogy, and had extensively researched her family tree. She had made hundreds of rice bags, and donated them to cancer patients for use as heating pads. Most of all, Dorothy loved her family, and treasured time spent with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Private Funeral Services will be held for the family, with Pastor Matt Overman, officiating. Burial will take place at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Open Arms Pound Rescue of Mercer County.
