Bonnie Miesse
Bonnie B. (Webb) Miesse, age 96 of Celina, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing Home at Shane Hill in Rockford.
She was born on July 31, 1926 to the late Perry and Ollie (Adams) Webb in Celina. On October 10, 1947 she married Miletus Miesse Jr. who passed away in September 1996. She is survived by her children Brad (Sandy) Miesse of Northport, AL, Shawn Miesse of Celina, Melita (Kevin) Basinger of Lima, Amber (Kevin) Gilliland of Celina, Quint (Audrey) Miesse of Celina, fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Wade Miesse, daughter-in-law Jane Miesse, brothers and sisters-in-law Arnold and Mary Webb, John and Rachel Webb, sister and brother-in-law Florence and Enoch Kimmel, an infant sister, an infant grandson, and granddaughter Abby Gilliland.
Bonnie graduated as the Salutatorian from the Neptune High School with the class of 1944. She was a member of the Grand Lake United Methodist Church in Celina and was formerly employed at Celina Coffee Shop for 20 plus years. She liked to go shopping and spending time with her family. She was a very good cook and she collected dolls and turquoise jewelry.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home, with Rev. Mick Whistler officiating. Burial will follow in North Grove cemetery.
Friends and family can call from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home.
