Judy Taylor
Judy A. Taylor, 63, of St. Marys, died 5:57 P.M. Tuesday, at the OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.
She was born February 28, 1959, in Findlay, Ohio, the daughter of Gene and Barbara (Janes) Treece. She married Stephen Taylor on October 6, 1979; he survives at the residence.
She is also survived by her daughters: Michelle (Neal) Voress of New Bremen; Lacy (J.J.) Tester of Wapakoneta; Jennifer (Phillip) Hemmelgarn of New Bremen; by her grandchildren: Lauren (Darin) Bergman of New Bremen; Brianna (Marcus) Sachtler of Navarre, Florida; Cole Hemmelgarn of San Diego; Faith Ann Voress of New Bremen; Cooper Voress of New Bremen; by a great-granddaughter, Maeve Bergman. She is survived by her siblings: Dan (Kim) Treece of Findlay; Sharon (Bill) Mahaly of Burlington, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her brothers, Ken Treece and Tom Treece.
Judy was a 1977 graduate of Findlay High School, and attended Bowling Green State University. She was a floral designer and had worked for many years at the Flower and Plant Barn in St. Marys and also Coldwater Flowers. Judy was also an artist who enjoyed painting. She enjoyed being a snowbird in Florida where she liked to play shuffleboard with her friends. She had served as 4-H advisor and attended St. Paul's United Church of Christ in St. Marys. Judy was a loving mother and grandmother who loved having sleepovers with her grandchildren and her Friday night dinner parties. Grand Lake St. Marys was her happy place, and she and her family would spend their summer weekends on the pontoon, going to the restaurants around the lake.
Funeral rites will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 27,2022, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, the Reverend Rhonda Hainer, officiant.
Friends may call from noon until 2:00 on Tuesday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to either Auglaize County 4-H or the St. Marys Theater Project.
