Mildred Dorsten
Mildred "Millie" Dorsten, 76, of Wapakoneta, died 7:10 P.M. Friday, December 9, 2022, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 11, 1946, in Mendon, Ohio, the daughter of Lawrence and Nellie "Merrifield" Krugh.
She married Ronald "Bud" Dorsten, Sr. on April 22, 1961, and he survives in Wapakoneta.
She is also survived by her children: Ronald Dorsten, Jr. of Wapakoneta; David Dorsten of Wapakoneta; Janel (Jody) Frazier of Celina.
She is survived by her 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and by her three sisters: Glenna Kendall; Linda Holdren and Deborah Frey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by her son, Terry Dorsten; by her siblings: Bill Krugh; Bob Krugh; Jim Krugh; Phyllis Davis; Peggy Ranken; by her granddaughter, LaRae Dorsten.
Millie retired from Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, where she had served for many years in the medical storeroom and as manager of hospital laundry. She loved going to church at Abounding Grace Church in Celina, listening to gospel music, shopping, gardening, working in her yard, making arts and crafts, traveling and fishing. She was a kind, friendly person.
Funeral rites will be held 1:00 Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Pastor Rick Brosher, officiant.
Private family burial rites will be held at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to a fund to buy a monument for Millie and Ron. Condolences may be sent to Millie's family via Millerfuneralhomes.net
