* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ronald Miars
Ronald L. Miars, 72, of St. Marys, died 11:32 A.M. Saturday, November 26, 2022, at St. Ritas Medical Center in Lima.
He was born January 29, 1950, in Celina, Ohio, the son of Orville and Helen (Schelby) Miars. He married Catherine McClintock on October 30, 1970, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta; she survives at the residence.
He is also survived by his children: Chad (Monica) Miars of Reynoldsburg; Nikki Miars of St. Marys; by his grandchildren: Lauren Miars, Landon Miars. He is survived by his sister, Gayle (Bob) Sachs of Centerville; by a nephew, Bryan (Megan) Kelley; niece Becky (Ed) Lowrey; nephew Damon (Danielle) Goodwin; nephew Deron (Leslie) Goodwin; niece Kerri (Doug) Sharpin; great-nephew and niece Kolyn and Ada Kelley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by a sister, Janie Goodwin; by a brother, John Miars.
Ron was a 1969 graduate of New Bremen High School. He retired from Bud's Chevy in St. Marys. He enjoyed gardening, birds, fishing, and was a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox.
Funeral rites will be held 6:00 P.M. Saturday, December 3, 2022, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys.
