Ted Dues
Ted Dues, age 66, of Coldwater, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
He was born June 3, 1956 in Coldwater to the late Cletus & Martha (Grieshop) Dues. On October 5, 1985 in Philothea, he married Beverly (Koester) Dues, and she survives in Coldwater.
He is survived by children, James & Andrea Kunk, Kate & Matt Spring, and Sue Dues & Mikey Wright; grandchildren, Annabelle and Lilly Kunk, Eli, Isaiah, and Addie Spring, and Nevaeh and Nolan Wright; siblings and in-laws; Ken & Jeanette Dues, Joe Dues, Sue & Mike May, Fred & Marge Dues, Freda & Hank Lochtefeld, Frank & Beck Dues, Danny Dues, Joyce & Larry Dwenger, Marvin & Mary Jo Koester, Cindy Koester, and Joe Barga & Mary Wenning.
He is preceded in death by a son, Ted Dues Jr.; and sister-in-laws, Sharon Dues and Vicky Barga.
Ted was a 1975 graduate of Coldwater High School. He spent many years working for Cooper Farms and 3-W Construction. Ted enjoyed fishing, gardening, spending time with family and friends. Ted loved any opportunity to spend time with his 7 grandchildren. Ted was a frequent volunteer at Briarwood Village. He really enjoyed the family vacation this past summer, he lived and was determined to go. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Monday, November 28, 2022 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 PM on Sunday November 27 and from 9 to 10 am on Monday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
