* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Lynn Kruse
Lynn B. Kruse, age 73, of Coldwater passed away on Thursday October 20, 2022, at The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus.
He was born on September 8, 1949 in Lima, to the late Bernard and Ruth Kruse. On October 6, 1978, he married Mary Jane (Gaerke) Kruse, who survives in Coldwater.
Lynn is survived by children, Alysia (Chad) Hoenie, St. Marys, OH; Maria Kruse, Charlotte, NC; and Aundrea (Brian Bruns) Kruse, St. Henry, OH. He is also survived by grandchildren: Zachary, Alexander, Maliyah, Elliana, Bradyen, Isaiah, and Abraham; siblings: Linda Temple, Andy (Kathy) Kruse, and Don (Peg) Kruse; mother-in-law: Dorothy Gaerke; in-laws: Vern Gaerke, Mike Gaerke, Martha Gaerke, Ric (Cindy) Gaerke, Elaine (Tony) Post, Kevin (Jane) Gaerke, Cynthia (Glen) Steyn, Lorraine (Mike) Bruns, Angie (Joe) Schwieterman, and Denise (Tom) Kaufman.
In addition to his parents, Lynn is preceded in death by father-in-law, Bernard Gaerke and brother-in-law Robert Temple.
Lynn was a 1967 graduate from St. Marys Memorial High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He retired as a senior lineman in the construction department after working 45 plus years in the telecommunications industry. Lynn enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, camping with family, and watching and feeding the birds. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan, enjoyed watching Nascar races and spending time at the Little Brown Jug. Lynn was a member of Celina Moose Lodge, Celina Eagles Aerie #1291, Celina VFW Post #5713 and Celina American Legion Post #210.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022, from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina.
Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 10:30 am at the funeral home with Vicar Deborah Monnin officiating; where the family will receive friends from 9:30 am - 10:30 am prior to the services. To conclude Lynn's services military rites will be conducted by Celina American Legion Post #210 and Celina VFW Post #5713.
